Studio Policies

  • The TX Studio does not allow any nude photography or partially nude photography. For reference, this includes but is not limited to: full or partial nude shoots, implied nudity, pornography, fine art nudity, and transparent clothing. If you are unsure, don't hesitate to reach out and ask!

  • Glitter, paper confetti, fireworks, and firearms are not permitted

  • No smoking or drugs are permitted

  • We are not an event space. If you have more than 12 people in your party, we ask that you book both studios for your shoot. If you have more than 25 people in your party, please make sure to check with our studio manager before booking. 

  • Be courteous of those using the studio before and after you. 

  • We do not offer tours due to our limited availability

  • We do not offer refunds for cancellations

  • Absolutely! If you would like to rent both studios at the same time, you'll have almost 2,000 square feet to create in. We offer half day and full day rentals for both studios. Contact us for more information and to secure your reservation.

  • From February through November, there is even natural light pouring into each studio. If you prefer additional harsh light to shoot against, we suggest booking Studio I in the morning or late afternoon and Studio II in the morning. Our spaces our big enough that regardless of what type of light you need, you should be able to find it any time of day.

  • Each studio will come with Rolling 10x10’ Backdrop (white and black), Various 53” Paper Rolls, Standing Mirror, Rolling Clothing Rack with Hangers, Gaffer Tape, Reflector, 1 Extension Cord, Unlimited Topo Chico, Various Live Plants, including a Fiddle Leaf Fig, Small Supplies: Bessey Clips, Clothes Pins, and Scissors, Seating Area with Cowhide Rug and Two Chairs, Small White Table Top Surface with 2 Sawhorses, Steamer, Changing Screen, 3 C-Stands, 2 Sandbags. 2 Stools and 3 Chairs, Rolling Table, SONOS Speaker, Reversible V-flat, Fan and 2 Apple Boxes.

  • Absolutely! We do highly recommend, however, that you rent out both studios if you want to do a video shoot in order to maintain better control over your sound quality.

  • We do encourage you to show up fifteen minutes prior to your shoot. However, the studio may be occupied by another party up until your start time. If this is the case, you will need to wait until your set reservation time to enter the studio.

  • If you are late leaving the studio or do not leave enough time to clean up, we will unfortunately have to charge you for an additional hour and/or a cleaning fee. Because we will often have back to back bookings, we ask that you make sure to remain aware of other photographers and leave enough time at the end of your reservation to clean up.

  • Yes! If you're interested in learning what specifically comes with each of our studios, take a look through our studio guide. We do not provide any type of lighting or food and drink (other than Topo Chico), but you are welcome to bring in anything you will need during your shoot. Please feel free to email us if you have any other questions about our equipment.

  • Yes! Studio II has access to a bathroom just down the hallway through the interior door. Studio I is not far away from the same bathroom - just go out the front door and through one of the main entrances to Tyler Station on either side of The TX Studio. The bathroom is to the left of the Studios.

  • While we do not offer refunds for cancellations, we can help you reschedule your reservation for a fee of $50. We ask that you give us 72 hrs. notice in order to honor this rescheduling fee. Otherwise you will need to make a new booking.

  • We do not allow any nude photography. Because we are located near a main entrance to Tyler Station, we ask that you remain mindful of your privacy as well as the privacy of your clients when you book our studios. We also do not allow shoots involving glitter, confetti, or fireworks of any kind.

Terms & Conditions

The TX Studio (Owner) agrees to rent the premises (agreed upon booking as either Studio I, Studio II or all of The TX Studio) to Renter for any future agreed upon reservation date and beginning/end times booked and paid for in advance.

Both parties agree to keep, perform, and fulfill the promises, conditions, and agreements expressed below:

Cancellation :The TX Studio provides no refunds upon cancellation. If you need to reschedule your reservation, you may do so for a fee of $50. Any scheduling changes must be requested no later than 72 hours before your scheduled reservation. Otherwise, you will need to book a new reservation.

Text Messaging: By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from The TX Studio. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. We respect your privacy and assure you that your mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Property: Renter agrees to maintain the premises, furniture and all equipment within the premises in as good a condition as they were at the beginning of the term. They agree to dispose of all trash in the provided trash cans and clean up any messes that occur during their rental period. If the studio is not left in good condition (i.e. trash thrown away, props placed back in original locations, and messes cleaned up) and/or the Renter is late leaving the premises, they will be charged a $100.00 fee.

Renter agrees that The TX Studio may conduct video surveillance of any portion of its premises at any time, the only exception being private areas of restrooms, showers, and dressing rooms, and that video cameras will be positioned in appropriate places within and around the building and used in order to help promote the safety and security of people and property.

Renter will be liable for any physical damages, legal actions, and/or loss of reputation or business opportunities that Owner may incur as a consequence of the actions of Renter or any of Renter’s guests while Renter is in control of the premises and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Owner against any and all legal actions which may arise from Renter’s use of the premises.

Liability: This agreement releases Owner from all liability relating to physical injuries and/or injury to Renter’s equipment that may occur during any future rental period agreed upon between Owner and Renter. Renter agrees to hold Owner entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.

Any disputes arising under this contract shall be adjudicated in the Owner’s local jurisdiction.
